Ever since I found out what a s'more was I wanted to make them! Two wheat crackers spread with melted chocolate sandwiching melted marshmallows = yummo! So this is my version....
The other day I had on hand Chocolate Wheatens and gave them a go, and my s'more turned out pretty good. The whole wheat biscuit is'nt too sweet and the best part is it's ready to go being covered in choc, which melts when the heat of the melted marshmallow hits it. Not messy, super easy and yummy! =)
The American recipe calls for Graham crackers, a whole wheat cracker from what I can tell, and down under we don't have Graham crackers. A couple of months ago I tried making double chocolate s'mores, following the recipe I made the choc biscuits then melted the chocolate and the marshmallows, yummy but all the sweetness was a bit sickly. Mine taste so much better! xxJenni
