All the colours rainbow cake

Rainbow cakes are so popular at the moment and I've been waiting for an excuse to make one, then a couple of weeks ago my twinnies birthday came up, so I had the perfect excuse.

It was very easy to make using two cake mixes I made one up at a time dividing the mix into three bowls for each colour. Then baked each colour for about 15 mins. For the frosting I used 2tbls softened real butter mixing it untill it lightened in colour and then added most of a bag of icing sugar with a little bit of milk.

This cake was super yummy and I think it's definately something to do with the rainbow colours. Just have to show you my sister in law Catherines creation, absolutely love the pastel colours in her cake. Check out her blog 'Peas and Jellybeans'.

As my friend commented 'How did I get a unicorn to vomit into a cake tin!', rainbow cakes have something magical about them! Well worth making but be warned friends and family will be begging you to make them one too. xJenni
